As my departure date looms, I find myself trying to plan out who all I want to see, who all I get to see, and who all wants to see me. Apart from being a really stressful process, many people haven’t been all that responsive. I don’t know what to think about that.
Either way, went to Six Flags today with Allie. Jacob joined us at the last minute and we made a day of it. Yes, the New Texas Giant is as awesome as everyone says. Couldn’t stand the old one…but the new one might just be my favorite ride.
I’ve started receiving letters in the mail. Got them from two people so far…so if you want your prayers to end up in the Western Wall, send them soon. After all, I leave in 16 days. That said, I’ve had people start asking me about my address when I get there. I don’t currently know (don’t even know if I’ll have a place to stay once I get there…) but as soon as I know, you’ll know.
If you want to see me before I go…better get your requests in fast. Here’s my calendar for this month. The days I’m in Arlington are in pink…but August 25th is pretty much full up. Don’t possibly see how I can fit it all in already. So if you live in Arlington and you want to see me…Thursday the 11th after 1:30 or late Wednesday night are probably your best bets. Or, you can man up and come visit me in Plano. It’s really only a 35 minute drive. 😉
On a complete and total side note…CAN’T WAIT FOR MY PHOTO SHOOT ON THURSDAY! =D
Right. I would also like to know why it isn’t feasible to start packing for a trip weeks in advance. I really, REALLY want to start packing. >_> But alas. Then I’d have no clothes to wear.
And regarding that, only 5 more days of working my Atomic internship. Sure, I’m going to miss it…but I’m so excited about what’s happening on the flip-side that I can’t even think about that right now…
And POTTERMORE! Why hasn’t my welcome email come yet?! Goodness gracious! The suspense is killing me.
With me, slowly but surely, destressing my life (and the inevitable adieu bid to MNI) life has become MUCH more enjoyable. You should join me. Who’s with me!? 😉
